Linda R. Benedetti- Owner / Founder / CEO

Linda started Advantage Home Assisted Care in 1990. The business, at that time, was targeted at our elderly population. She was granted a license for Homemaker / Companion and Adult Sitter at that time (1990). The agency immediately had several private clients. In July of 1991, Linda decided to incorporate the company. In 1993, she was approached by the Department of Developmental Services to provide care for their disabled clients through the Medicaid Waiver program. She applied to the state and was approved. The business grew quickly and in 1997 needed to move to its current location on Walsingham Road. in Largo. At that time, Linda applied for her Skilled Nursing License, which was granted in June of 1998. In March of 2002, Advantage was approved to provide services for Medicaid/Medicare clients. Linda's goal is to continue providing quality personal care to those in need in our community.





Jerry Finnin, LPN- Administrator / President

Before Advantage Home Assisted Care, Inc. was even incorporated, Jerry started working for his Mom's small company. While helping to establish Advantage, Jerry enrolled in Nursing school where he graduated with top grades and was elected to the National Honor Society. After graduation he worked at Mease Dunedin Hospital on a Med/Surg. floor, to sharpen his Nursing skills. During his 13 years with Advantage, Jerry has been responsible for a variety of duties, and is currently the Administrator and President of the company. He resides in Seminole with his wife, and three children, and continues to pursue studies in the field of medicine.






Susan Jones, RN- Director of Nursing

Susan joined the Advantage Staff in 1997, when we decided to pursue our Skilled Nursing License. She brought with her a wealth of information instrumental in helping us obtain our license for Skilled Nursing. Susan is directly responsible for all patients under Advantage's care. She constantly and consistently reviews all patient Plan of Care directives from physicians, as well as all the forms and paperwork needed to process Medicare and Medicaid. Originally from Ohio, she has resided in Largo for twenty plus years, with her daughter, two cats and one noisy little bird.






Jennifer Finnin- Office Manager

Jennifer joined our Staff in 2000, as an Office Assistant. In her four years with Advantage, Jennifer has consistently proven that she can get the job done. She is involved in almost every aspect of our Agency, including Billing, Payroll, and Management. Jennifer is currently our Office Manager. She works closely with all departments at Advantage, and is instrumental in keeping us running and on track. Jennifer resides in Seminole with her husband, three children and many dogs and cats.







Peggy Farrell, RN - Assistant D.O.N. / Case Manager

Peggy graduated from St. Petersburg PTEC in 1992 as an LPN. She went on to get her A.S. degree as an RN at St. Petersburg College. Peggy has been in the Home Health field for over 12 years, with the last five as a Case Manager for Home Health. Peggy joined our team in 2002, bringing with her a Nursing expertise that has been a great asset to our company. Her job duties consist of Case Management of all our Skilled Nursing cases and supervisory visits to ensure that our clients are happy with their caregiver. She has recently been promoted to Assistant Director of Nursing, due to her outstanding efforts with our clients. Peggy resides in Largo, with her husband Keith (who is also a Registered Nurse and a Respiratory Specialist in the Air Force), her two children and her dog.





Linda Peters, RN - Assistant D.O.N. / Case Manager

Linda joined Advantage in July 2003 working on a per diem basis. She has recently assumed a full-time position assisting Susan and Peggy with their responsibilities both in the field and in the office. She earned her BSN degree from USF in 1975 and subsequently spent 20 years in ICU/CCU & PACU. For the past nine years, she has been working in home health care as a field nurse and case manager, and the past five were spent also caring for her disabled mother. She was raised in Seminole and currently resides there with her two children, a grandson and eleven animals.





Brenda LaGrone – Director of Staffing

We all got a lucky break when Brenda joined Advantage Home Assisted Care, Inc. Born and raised in Tampa Florida, She is a real asset to the company. Being Staffing Director is truly one of the toughest positions here at Advantage and Brenda is doing a great job. Previously, she ran an office for Coca-Cola Fountain for approx. 3 years. She has also worked for DePuy and was in charge of supplying hospitals with medical supplies throughout the state of Florida. Brenda currently resides in Temple Terrace with her 2 year old son, but will be relocating to the Largo area in the near future.





Liz Ricca- Human Resources Manager

Originally Transplanted from New York, Liz and her family moved to Florida some 16 years ago.She brings with her 20 years of business experience, most recently as a Grant writer and Assistant to the Health Ministry program at St. Anthony’s Hospital where she worked for six years. Tracking, reporting and making compliant all Baycare hospital’s employees under hospital, state and federal regulations was quite challenging, but one that Liz is very proud of accomplishing. As the Human Resource Manager, keeping us all compliant with required training, renewals, certifications is one of Liz’s priorities, as well as, hiring the most skilled and professional caregivers in the area. Liz resides in Clearwater, and shares her life with her husband, Paul, their son and daughter and the two much adored dogs, Dutch and Ozzie.





Michelle Kaiser- Receptionist

Michelle moved to Largo, from New York, in 1978. She attended FMU, in Pinellas County, for 2 years and received her Associates in Science Degree for Medical Assisting. After graduation, she worked for a Pediatric Oncologist, and at a OB/GYN clinic, before taking leave to have her first child. When she was ready to work again, Michelle joined our Staff at Advantage, as our receptionist. She has very quickly become acquainted with our clients, caregivers, and support coordinators and where our many phone calls should be directed. She resides in Largo, with her husband and two small children.
